542 Code?

Hey guys? I am getting fuel circuit secondary failure/542 code. I hade my fuel pump replace over a year ago and i was getting the same code prior to replacing it. But now i'm experiencing the same symptoms: whinning, lose of power, and rpm fulcuating with the whinning. I'm also getting a 511 code, but i have a Ted LPM. So, i'm assuming it was something else, any ideas.

The 542 code can be generated by a stalled engine. Has the engine stalled with the ignition key in the ON position at any time? Are you saying that the fuel pump does not sound consistent in its pitch? This could be from a weak fuel pump or even a weak battery, alternator or voltage regulator not providing a steady voltage to the pump.

It has stalled on attempting to crank. But the alternator, battery and fuel pump is farely new.

Also, would the HEOG sensor have anything to do with it?
