3 BAR MAP question?! Standard Motor Products AS410. Is it a 3 bar?

Good evening everyone I have a quick question I was hoping you guys could help me with. I ordered a 3 bar map for my car and I completely trust the gentleman I purchased it from however I want to make sure that rockauto sent me the correct part.. I just want to verify it is infact a 3 bar map sensor before I install it and not a 2 or 1 bar map sensor. I would greatly appreciate your help if anyone knows from experience. Part number is (Standard Motor Products) AS410. Thank you!

I appreciate the help my man; i saw that post prior to posting but wanted to double check that he meant all of those (including AS410) was infact a 3 bar. Thanks!

Please post a pic of the other side of the sensor, should be a part number and/or barcode on it.

Yes, it is listed as an appropriate replacement for the ford 3 bar CX2231 / AA5Z9F479B

cx2231 is a German part, I believe the replacement cx2594 is Chinese

The 2 bar is CX2228, and the part printed on the sensor is AA5Z9F479CA - rockauto

I apologize in advance for my naivety, but by installing the 3bar map sensor onto a stock SHO, you won't improve performance at all, just allow the capability for higher boost pressure once a tune is added, correct??

Correct! Only helpful once you’ve installed some goodies/ have a tuner and custom tunes (gearhead tunes for mine)

Don’t install the 3 bar until you have a tune the car will not run right on the stock tune.

Just fyi, the 2.5 bar (CX2401) is oem for the Mustang and F-150 Ecoboost engines and is still only $59.99. It reads up to 23 psi which is still more than enough for most SHOs.
