Well, guess what? the rod caps, and the pistons/rods have lost the order in, someone goofing around in the garage didn't know that they were in a particular order and went ahead and moved them.

i know for sure that they didnt put them back in the order they were found, so now im at square one.
Is there ANY way to tell in which order they came out? Because the order was lost i called a couple machine shops to see what they'd charge to clean everything up and put the rolling assembly back together. Most of the shops said they just straight wouldn't do it. One shop said they would but only if i ordered new pistons... they quoted me at 1400 dollars just for that, because the pistons are (spendy). This really isn't an option, i dont have 1400 dollars just to get the rolling assembly back together, im really feeling in over my head, i have only spent about 350 all together, 250 for the motor and 120 for the piston rings, so i wouldnt be out a huge loss but... i really want a 3.2 zex'd SHO!
