half-way there, I think.
The time has come for me to move on. My priorities have changed and I no longer have the time to invest into the Outlaw, so she is being offered up for Sale. I would like it to go to an enthusiast. I have no interest in parting out the car – so don’t ask.

Below is the list of modifications done to the car

Vortech Custom Blower Kit w/ Reichard pulley
HKS Super SQV BOV
3.2 Liter Motor (stock compression)
Oil filter relocation kit w/ -10 braided hoses
SHOShop Y-pipe w/ Custom 3" Cat-Back
SHOShop Under Drive Pulleys
SHOShop Big Bore Butterflies
SHOShop Front Strut Tower Brace
Konig (I think) Rear Strut Tower Brace
Ported & Polished Intake & Heads
80mm Lightning MAF
Tweecer R/T
Re-located Optima Yellow Top Battery (to trunk) with approved NHRA box and **** switch
Custom Reinforced Motor Mounts
Quaife Torque Biasing Differential
Clutch Masters Double Diaphragm Clutch
Shonut ceramic TOB
Shonut aluminum release fork shaft bushings
Gary Morrell trans case drain plug
Stock Flywheel
Custom Short Shifter
Subframe Connectors
26mm Rear Sway Bar
22mm Front Sway Bar
Intrax Springs w/ Koni Struts
Alum. Adjustable Rear Control Arms
TCE Rear Knuckle Braces
White Faced Gauges
A-pillar Gauge Pod (Oil, A/F & H20)
Steering Column Gauge Pod (Boost)
Knock Monitor
PLX Wideband O2 Sensor and Controller
Shonut Aluminum Subframe Bushings
TPR or Poly Bushings where ever possible
17" Eagle Alloy Wheels
Dunlop SP Sport 8000 235/45zr17
13" Baer Claw Brake Upgrade
Eradispeed 2 piece rotors (drilled & slotted)
Retrofitted Gen 1 Rear Vented Brakes
Earls Hyperfirm Stainless Braided Brake Lines
Gentex Mirror w/ Compass and Homelink
Factory Style Alarm - Uses factory Fob
Sony MEX-BT2700 Bluetooth HU
And a few other things I'm sure I forgot...

Below is what will also come with the car:

Worked over 3.2 Liter short block filled with forged pistons.
Major gaskets to finish new motor
Water to Air intercooler with everything but hoses and wiring to finish install
17”x7” Enkie RS6 Wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber
2 sets of trans internals
Extra hood, front bumper fascia and set of front fenders
All the spare parts, pieces and SHO specific tools I’ve collected through the years.

The Good:

I’ve owned the car since 2001, at the time it only had 38k miles on it. I’ve done most if not all of the work and maintenance on the car since. Currently has 104k on the body, 32k on the motor w/ about 12k of that supercharged. Never been in accident and has 0 rust. Paint still looks good. It’s a blast to drive and has been a very reliable car for me. Last Dyno it made 390hp and 308tq. Only issues I’ve ever had was a bad CCRM and a snapped CV Shaft. Has new cats and just recently passed Colorado sniff test with flying colors and leaks no oil.

The Bad:

It’s a 14-year-old Taurus with the dings to prove it; most are from when the car was stolen. I thought about having them repaired, but decided it gave the car more character to go with the Outlaw moniker it got after being stolen and involved in a high-speed chase. The second gear blocking ring is worn and will grind going into gear when it is cold out. Rear motor mount needs to be redone - I have the mount, just have not beefed it up yet to install it. Could do with a little better tuning, but it's pretty close.

Asking $7,000

BUMP! PLEASE go to an enthusiast!

For those of you that haven't put this type of work and parts into a SHO, $7k is an absolute STEAL for what you're getting.

x a million, what a steal. You guys have me considering an S/C SHO for my daily. Do not budge on that price Terry. If someone is not willing to give you 7k for that, they do not deserve it.

Yeah - it's priced to move. I'm taking a huge hit on it, basically the would be buyer is getting a free SHO and only paying for 2/3rd of the mods that are on it, not including any of my labor.

I hope it's gone in 3 to 4 months - but who knows. I drove it to work yesterday - still puts a big grin on my face, but it's still time to move on.
