Seeing if there is any interest. Bought the car from another forum member for the Nashua convention and I just don’t drive it anymore.
1995 Silver MTX 16x,***
Interior is gray with Gen II black 50/50 rear seat and Gen I black 50/50 front seats. Bottom of center console, as well as arm pad is also black. A/C blows colder than any car I have owned. Dynomax exhaust
Kenwood stereo with Sirius. All new speakers (infinity) run off a small kenwood amp. The factory harness was cut up when I got it ...I just bypassed it all except for power and ran new lines. It’s not a “sound system” by any means. Just a better than stock setup.
Engine runs good. Has (installed) SHOSource silicone heater hoses. New plugs, wires and valve cover gaskets. New alternator. New Radiator. Comes with (not installed) all parts for front 60K (including rod bearings) and 2 sets of SHOSource Valve Cover Grommets
Transmission shifts well. Was a rebuilt MTX from Andrew Graysons 3.3 build. Has a Spec Stage II clutch and ceramic TOB. The shifter boss was busted when I got the trans … it’s been modified and reinforced and has given no issues
Brakes are Cobra up front (13”) and new (rebuilt) rears. Parking cables have all been replaced. Stainless lines.
Factory slicers with junk tires will come with if wanted … car has MSR190 wheels (17”) with newer Kumho Ecsta ASX tires.
Suspension was completely re-done not long after I bought it. Didn’t care for the Konis/Intrax that were in there. Currently has Monroe sense-tracs and Eibachs. New strut mounts all around, new bearings, aluminum windstar front links. ALSB. New trans mount, reinforced motor mounts. New ingalls LCA and recently replaced front hubs with good bearings
Fuel pump is a new walbro from SHOsource (access door is cut)
NOS headlights. Clear, factory, new headlights with fishtanks … not polished fishtanks and Rockauto headlights. Clear corners as well.
The bad:
Front passenger window does not work. No power to the switch. Front 60k is not done, but parts are included. TOB makes noise (common of ceramic TOBs). Body has SOME rust. Being upfront with it. It is not rusted out and pics are included of the rust that is there. The car is not a rotbox northeast car, but it is a 1995 non desert car.
I have extras that purchaser is welcome to. Misc black gen II interior pieces (including a pillar pod and pass airbag) and a disassembled 3.2.
Asking 2800. Not in a rush and don’t “need” the money so keep that in mind. Car runs well, hasn’t given me a problem with 2 Carlisle trips and the convention. Plus numerous trips back out to RI for visits.
