I just picked up a 1995 SHO for a project car trying to figure out if there is a way to bypass the security anti theft. I have tried from YouTube videos but haven’t had any luck. The red anti theft light is flashing and four ways are blinking. Car turns over but won’t fire. I’m pretty sure fuel pump is getting fuel to motor but injectors don’t seem to be working? Spark plugs are dry. Motor will start on started fluid. Looks like some mice may have got some of the wires but wasn’t sure if the security system shuts down injectors. Any help would be appreciated

The gen 1/2 didn't have a factory anti theft system. Whatever you have is aftermarket or dealer added. If you remove it entirely and splice the right wires back together it'll probably start. Do you have any photos of whats going on under the dash?

Has it been sitting for a while? The injectors have a habit of sticking closed after sitting for extended periods of time. If the fuel pump turns on and the car will actually run on starter fluid, there shouldn't really be any other reason that it won't start.

So I removed the security system and those other wires I traced back to trunk to a hands free phone device.

I have never seen that Ford Vehicle Security System in any 95 before.

Could it be it was grafted-in from a later model Taurus?

Where is the Anti-Theft light located?

It is too early to consider freeing up injectors just yet.

The security system does not look like it was grafted in, so I am out of ideas.

The 95 Electrical, Vacuum, Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM) does not depict a Security System.

Just throwing in a wild one here, make sure your crash sensor is not tripped. I'm assuming it's in the same place on the 95 as the 92, driver side rear fender inside of trunk. It stops the fuel flow in case of a crash but any impact on that fender can trip it. It's really funny (not) to slap your buddy's car right there and then it won't run for him.... I had an empty trunk one time, except for that wood block I used to put under the jack, and went over a bump in a hard corner. Wouldn't you know the block jumped right up and flew towards the sensor just right (wrong) and tripped it? Anyway there is a reset button to push. Good luck!

Yes thank you. That was one of Germany’s first things I checked. I am getting fuel to the rail. I pulled the intake and checked all injectors were working properly and they are. I’m thinking it might have to do with crank sensor or cam sensor...

If it runs on starting fluid it has spark, so the cam and crank sensors should be okay. All 6 injectors are spraying?

I am not sure. Although I pulled them all and tested on battery. They all clicked and seemed to be working properly. Still just cranks/ no start. Spark plugs are dry.
