1994 HAS PROBLEMS STARTING WHEN HOT

THIS 1994 SHO ATX HAS PROBLEMS STARTING WHEN HOT AND THE TACH DOESNT WORK AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOES ON AND THE CODE FOR LOW SIDE OF THE FUEL PUMP GOES ON IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR AWHILE ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE HELP FULL

If it has a code for a problem in the fuel pump, I'd start there. You may have to replace the pump, but I'm not sure.

1. Turn off the caps lock.

2. Run both the KOEO and KOER test and see what they turn up. Post your exact codes.

Your problem has to be diagnosed as to whether the problem is fuel or spark. Hook up a fuel pressure guage and see what your fuel pressure is. Hook up an engine timing light and see if you're getting a spark while cranking.

No TACH will indicate either a bad crank sensor or a DIS module. Hook up an external tach to verify you don't have a guage problem.

The code for the low side of the FP usually results from an engine stall.

i just when out and the car started fine its cold and the tach works fine there are no fault codes reading.i let it run till hot shut it off and its hard starting allmost like dead battery but the bats new it takes sevel round to catch and then it starts but has no tach reading and the the check engine light comes on
