That might be your problem; get some pink and white spray paint and...Just kidding.

The previous owner might have spliced in a piece of black wire to the factory White/Pink wire; or your white/pink might be so soaked inoil and grime that it is now blackish colored. If it's the former, his splice might have failed. If the latter, try and follow it back into the harness and good clean wire and test it there.

Tried to jumps start the starter today and still the car will not start. The starter does initiate, there are cranks, but no start. I am getting frustrated at this point. What is going on with this SHO?

After all the work and installing new parts and scratching my head about what could be causing the SHO to not start, the problem was simple. On a hunch I called the previous owner and asked him if he had ever installed a after market car alarm. He said he did, but the alarm was no good, so he disengaged it. With that information I spent the morning uninstalling the after market alarm and just as I finished, made my cross, said a prayer and attempted to start the SHO up. Boom she started right up!!!!! Took it out for a spin and man I missed driving the SHO.

Thank you everyone with your inputs and insights.
