Does your car run hotter now? Mine hardly ever gets past the A right after the L.

Hey Guys,

An engine that runs too cool is a very bad thing.

1. If the oil isn't up to tempature it's NOT doing it's job.
2. The different type metals don't expand to the tolerance's they're suppose to be at, causing untold Micro. damage.
3. Lower cumbustion chamber temps don't burn fuel as efficiently, and may thin oil.

I'm sure there are more but right off that's what I got.

I've had thermostats stick open and closed and both need immediate attention. Don't let a cool running engine go un-addressed.

how is that normal to run fully warmed up at the a and l i have ownwed three shos and my friend has owned three at full operating temp. the gauge should read by the o and the r because the fans are programed to turn on at the o on the temp gauge ... unless i am missing somthing... if its running at the a and lt is fully warmed up obviously somthing is wrong because the fans would not turn on thus if you run around all day without the fans coming on ...melt down...= dead sho

my '93 runs on the AL, my '95 runs on the MA.. those gauges aren't very acurate only way to know for sure where the car is running is to have a real gauge.

Running temperature

First of all my car is running ok by now...

It is very important that car reaches that normal operating temp...
Like others have said....

Few things i have to tell ,,,my car was 4 years without daily driving....so
i know that there are problems ,,like this t-stat issue... But iam trying to
repair those things... And this website is VERY important to me...
