1993 atx has a problem starting occasionally

my 1993 atx will not start sometimes. it turns over (not the starter), but wont start. cranking it 2-3 times usually gets it to go. any clues as to what the problem might be would be helpful.

Try turning your key to the "on" position a couple times, where you hear the fuel pump prime, then start. This should help build up fuel pressure in the rails if you have a bad check valve/fuel pump. See if that's your problem, it seems pretty common.

CPS comes to mind. Did you run the codes? If not do that first and post your results
