1989 SHO no codes is this normal?
Car's been perfect since I bought it. Then I go a no start situation every great while then twice in the same month. Now I have a no start condition, had it towed to mechanic supposedly it was crank case sensor still no start. Had it dismantled watch them check gap and reassemble. Now at this point I had chosen to have water pump crank sensor and belts replaced. DIS Been replaced
all plugs, wires. I have all electrical parts working radio lights fuel pump I get spark at plugs floods out if I try to to start it over and over. Now at first I noticed my clock digits stayed on 24 hours a day but not the light now I have no digits displayed short? Cranks cranks and cranks. I live 25 miles from the nearest Ford dealership but just about ready to have it towed there just to pull codes. I have acquired an extra ecm but wanted to know if I was going down the wrong path. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated! Thank you
OK Ok I thought the step by step instructions to pull codes set me up very well. BUT with a jumper wire my check engine light does not blink. With a volt-meter I get a constant signal no sweeping motion positive I have jumper placed correctly
Any Ideas?
