I was thinking about investing in some 17inch cobra r's for my 91 mtx but i'm not sure if they would fit and what the back spacing would be. i talk to the local tire store and they told me i could only fit 15's. well i have 16's stock and my friends 91 sho plus has 18's

If he can get them in a 5x108mm bolt pattern and 38mm-45mm offset you should be all set with fitnment even up to 9" wide.

A while back there was a guy on the forum with a black 90. And he had 95 chrome Cobra R wheels. And he had 245/45/ZR17 tires on them. Maybe he'll pop up and tell you where he got them.

The ones I'm talking about were definitely Cobra R's, the 95 style, in chrome. They were replicas, not real Ford stuff.
