15" wheels WILL NOT fit over 96 brakes correct?

OK, I know this is a dumb question... 15" wheels will not clear the 96 upgrade correct? I've got a set of 15" steel wheel with almost new tires off the latest parts car and 2 of my cars have the 96 brakes and the 91 has the 12.5s. Please confirm. Thanks. thumb

Correct - not enough clearance.

Correct. Weaves won't clear them, but the 16" slicers will.

Remember also that the stock spare tire will not fit over the '96+ brakes so you'll need to put the spare on a rear wheel and move the rear 16" wheel up front if you ever have a front flat.

Thanks for the clarification. What cars have a full size spare and spare cover that would work in the gen 1 or gen 2? shrug

The spare from the gen 3 fits since it came with the 11.6" brakes.
