Your input is much appreciated as I have still yet to order the emblems yet, and even then, once they make their way into my hands, it'll inevitably be quite some time for them to be hand lettered (in white) and cleared, making them available for me to install onto the car itself.
Hey, that looks like a goth chick smiling...

Honestly, no matter the car, all that mesh with no emblem looks off. Whether it SHO, V, Bentley, get an emblem on thurr...

An emphatic YES!
I love the look of the Mobsteel grill, but IMHO it needs some emblem to buffer the "aftermarket" look. The "Ford" will work in black much better than blue with your color scheme. I think this would also be true if your car were black, or grey. Just an opinion, but it's well considered since I just recently bought a Black SHO and want to do the same grill treatment, but wanted to do the "Ford" oval (but not in Blue).
EDIT:
Just re-read your question:
Definitely like a black-background "Ford" emblem.
I also think that the custom white lettering would be very cool with your color scheme.

Leave the Ford emblem off.
If you must have an emblem, make it a SHO emblem. And make it a small one.
The front looks good with no emblem.

Yikes, looks your car is wearing black lipstick.

I voted no, but after taking a closer look at the pictures, I guess you can't make it any worse at this point.

That would look much better with a stainless, brush colored type mesh, or white grills and black mesh.

Looks great but if it were me I would add the emblem. Nice work!

I hate to say it, but I kind of agree with the lipstick comment. I would definitely add the emblem in the front as well, to try and break that up a bit.

I like the lower grill though. I think it's mostly the shape of the upper grill that gives it that look of a smile.

Add the Ford emblem definitely. I am also of the ones that think it looks like a smile with black lipstick... not so sure if I like it, but overall the car looks great. Just need something in the middle to **** that smile effect. Also a SHO emblem could do the job... But you definitely have a plan and I want to congratulate you for your dedication to your project. So car looks great, but the mobsteel grille in white with black lipstick, not so sure. Maybe too late, but I think I would have preferred the opposite (black grille and white surrounding)... to stick with the white and black accent. Just MHO. Put an emblem Mike.
Cheers
Steve

A deep, soulless empty black emblem to highlight the unending misery that your bleak, dark soul endlessly weeps through its bleary eyes sounds good.

(Your car's emo.)

I have to say i'm not really feeling the color scheme of the grill. I think white outline and black mesh would have been better. Definitely get an emblem on that grill. Doesn't really matter what color you pick for the emblem, because it's small enough where nobody will ever notice it but you. It's your car so do what you like.

im going with no emblem although i would like to see it in a pic with you holding it in place or maybe through some double sided tape on there to give us a better perspective on what it would look like

I am torn on, Certainly couldn't hurt to try out. Me personally I will be putting SHO in lower left corner of my MS grill.

Mike I voted no before I read black custom emblem and can't change it so change one vote to yes. Why it didn't KNOW you would use a custom emblem is beyond me, plus I too have black custom badges but mine say yamaha.

Hey SHOspazz92, I am not a fan of his latest mod neither, but I think you were rude with your comment. It's not youtube here where people bash on each other... We are all friends here that share the same passion for our cars. Cheers man!

Mike when I first saw the grill, I can't say that I liked the upper, but I did think the lower grill looked awesome, but I must say that after looking at the upper several more times and studying it in relation to the rest of the car, that I am liking it more and more. I do like the idea of using the black to separate the white of the mesh. I think you did an awesome job. Keep up the outstanding work!

Think this would look sweet shadowed in Black in the middle of the grill!
