Weird question/observation, in my 2018 SHO, I noticed when in CarPlay mode, I can't see the UI circular menu pop up for when I make changes with the climate control buttons like fan speed or temperature. The only original SYNC menu I have that seems capable of showing in CarPlay is the volume adjustment. Otherwise, to know what temp changes I'm actually making, I have to navigate to the original Ford app in car play and change to the climate tab.

This wouldn't have really bothered me too much, and I would've just accepted it as a software limitation, but after recently using my parents 2016 Explorer Sport, and 2022 F150 Lariat Sport, they both have this functionality entirely. Which makes me now wonder, is this a glitch in just my car? Or do some/all Taurus SHOs lack this very simple UI functionality for some reason?

Note: Image below is not from my car, it is just meant to represent the circular menus I'm referencing.

I have a 2015 but I put a 2019 Sync 3 system in. I can only see temperature on the Sync screens (HVAC, Main, etc) if I am in Android Auto, I cannot.

Yeah, that's why I think CarPlay sucks. It basically makes your iPhone take over the car's entire display. I have it my BMW and never use it. Also, having to literally plug in your WIRELESS phone to use CarPlay's navigation is nuts. However, unlike my BMW, the SHO lacks any standalone-navigation (unless unlocked by FORScan), so you HAVE to plug in your phone to figure out where you're going. My 2014 Ford Focus Electric's built-in navigation is perfectly fine, in fact, better than most.
