    block heater placement

    With the changing of the bearings looming I was wondering if it made a difference were I put the block heater? It looks like on the back of the block, closest to the firewall, in the middle looks like the easiest place to mount it. I thought I'd make sure before I replaced anything.

    cleaned AIB vavle, no start,

    Here what I did from start to finish. 1. Disconnected battery, took off ducting and MAF to get to ECT sensor. Took ECT sensor off, spilt some coolant, put new ECT sensor in and tightened. Reconnected ECT plug. 2. Took of AIB valve off. Cleaned thoroughly and cleaned alittle into the intake...

    thermostat temp 190 or 195?

    I've seen it listed as 190 in the shotimes maintinence post but when I checked with napa(auto parts store) they have listed as 195. Which is right?
