If you are talking the rear I just drill out the hole and use a 7/16" bolt and nut.

bolt snapped and ive used titanium and cobalt bits and tried to slow drill it just to dull and snap about every single one of em

im just gonna cut off the spindle and put on a JY one

I cant remember the exact size but I took my old one that was all bent and replaced it with a grade 8 from Orchard (Hardware store). I did however spend like $18 at Ford on a special order and replaced them later with brand new OEM bolts. THEN after all that I saw the same exact bolts at AutoZone in the HELP! section where they usually have all the hard to find parts. I hope this helps...

Front Strut Pinch Bolt (M14 x 2.0 x 65mm)

Rear Strut Pinch Bolt (M12 x 1.75 x 57mm)

That is the diameter of the threaded portion of the bolt, the thread pitch of the threads (ie. distance between threads), and the length of the bolt.

Monroe sells a "kit", which is nothing more than the pinch bolt - AK52 and AK50 for the front and rear struts, respectively.

really? 12x1.75? I thought they were bigger than that... huh. the more you know!

You got assraped. The dealer list for the each is $3.75 and $3.88 each.

The Monroe "kits" were $4.01 and $2.52 each (but that was some time ago).

What I do with the rear is to drill them out and use a 7/16" diameter bolt and nut. No problems ever removing them again.
