I guess you could be in the habit of pocketing the tweecer each time you got out of the car to prevent them from getting it if they chose to buy it on the spot.

I saw two creepy lookin guys that looked just like that driving a Crossfire around in the Midwest this summer...

BTW, I think if you guys can keep the damn thing running and in one piece, you should be hard to beat.

What gives with the last three pictures? They won't let you race just a set of slicers with headlights, will they?

HAHAHA, yeah, I know.

The car looks great. I'm going to see about borrowing a video camera to capture as much excitement as possible this weekend.

Lookin good! :thumb:

When do we get to see the engine and such? :dribble:

The engine is "as found". We are limited to $500 spend not counting cage, tires, brakes, safety. I will try to get a few other pictures, but the engine is dirty and has 240,000+ miles on it. That said, it still has lots of power and does not smoke (other than the tires through second gear ).

Numbers coming soon.

3 days to race day.

I'm assuming you already installed new rod bearings?

Man this looks like it will be a blast! I can't wait to hear about the results and see some vids and pics. **** you should've gone to a local ARMY recruiter and told them you were going with the GI SHO theme maybe the local recruiter could sponsor you while you support the troops.

Did you guys cut the center of the headlight header panel for improved cooling? Thats technically a free mod soo who can say anything. Was the diff welded or is it a stocker that might eject the pins?
