just went up to 3.15/gallon.

I have heard the theory/argument that we pay a lot less for gas here in the states right? You have heard it also.. No?! Here is my answer to that. Other countries are not as big as the US. We have the ability to "pool" our resources since we are all one country. I don't know exact size comparisons but you have france... it is bout as big as what Oregon? Germany bout the size of Idaho? These countries have limited resources within their borders. They arguably HAVE to pay more, cause they cannot drill and process gas within their borders. Not saying they don't, but when you are TOTALLY dependent on others for your supplies, you will have to pay a premium for said supplies. That is why when I hear that, it makes me just shake my head.. Yeah in other countries they pay more, if they had the resources like Venezuela, they too could have their gas for what Venezuela charges...$.15/GAL. So there is no reason for gas to be AS expensive as other countries pay here in the US.

VERY true... the biggest reason for upsize in gas prices is that we are not getting our gas the same way we were in 1908 we've innovated and need new ways to get the oil out of the ground, not only that, but its harder to find... some places are forced to upgrade technology and ways of refining the gasoline... it also is a different type of crude oil that we are drilling for... i could go on and on...

What if you run E85 and put 3 bottles of cheap octane booster in. I heard that from Jesse.

I bought some 91Octane yesterday at $3.57 per gallon. Mine won't run on 87 with the LPM and still pings below 3000 with 91. The only time my engine does not ping is with octane booster or mixing some 100 octane.

Mine wont idle right with 87. I put 91 or 93 in and its fine. 110 and it actually gets better mileage. I think its the BP gas that does it.

I prefer BP gas over any. I get the most out of it.

I know, I know :naughty: I may take it through there but at a drastically lower speed, say the speed limit.

Yeah I tried starting it numerous times after and nothing. I know Bill put a new coil in cuz that cracked, the radiator....um yeah. Too bad.
