The 1993 EVTM shows that the EATC control head has 2 electrical connectors. C274 and C275I cant get my climate control unit to turn on . Is there a fuse to this ? Or is it the whole unit ? Thanks !
You can check the circuits with a volt meter and then load test with a headlamp bulb to ensure the circuit can carry a load. The 1993 EVTM shows that the EATC control head has 2 electrical connectors. C274 and C275
At C274 check the following pins for power and ground.
Pin 11 circuit 298 P/O this is Hot in Run position of the ignition switch
Pin 12 circuit 797 LG/P Battery Voltage
Pin 24 circuit 57 BK Ground
Pin 26 295 LB/PK Hot when ignition is in ACC or RUN.

Also noticed my fuse #5 blows after putting the key in hot , and its linked to the reverse lights and climate control that I have an issue with , also turn signals . Something is blowing fuse #5Mine is doing the same thing. The Outside Temperature function doesn't display anything either. The display doesn't say "OFF", it is just a blank display. I checked the fuses associated with the EATC, then I checked all the fuses (with a meter). I guess I am experiencing the same problem. My next step was to get into the dashboard and make sure power is going to the connector. I bought a replacement unit on eBay in case that is the problem.
I also am interested in any suggestions other members might have.

Haha basically all of that is offFuse 5 feeds these circuits......
Turn Signals, Backup Lamps, Keyless Entry, Digital Instrument Cluster, Rear Window Defrost, Air Ai Bags, Daytime Running Lamps, Illuminated Entry, EATC Control Module, VAPS Module, Heated Oxygen Sensor, Manual Lever Position Sensor, Shift Lock Actuator
When I press the turn signals I get a faint signal indicators on the dashFuse 5 feeds these circuits......

What are some common points for the fuse 5 blowing? I only see one post or so about itFuse 5 feeds these circuits......
