They do. I plan on going once the car is 100% sorted out.I may be out on a limb here but I’m pretty sure drag strips operate year round in the desert.

amazing.... however bigger turbos.10.96 1/4 mile = 10.96 @127.43 / 10.95 1/4 mile = 10.95 @ 129.29. Faster by .01 seconds but 1.86 mph faster.
forget you folks on west coast get crapola 91Nope. It will get more octane first. Guys on 93 octane with the same mods are going similar 0 to 60 times, 7.20-7.40 second 60 to 130 runs, and running 10.60 to 10.70 quarter mile times @ 129-131 mph.
Then it will get a drag radial when I need new rear tires.
Yeah that’s super lame. I have a few stations by me that get 110 with zero E in the summer.forget you folks on west coast get crapola 91
I found a sunoco buy its like 20 miles away has racing fuel gt 260. However with 93 I would prefer ethanol mix at this point with the hpfp. That gt 260 would help you folks for sure.Yeah that’s super lame. I have a few stations by me that get 110 with zero E in the summer.

Not really, I haven't been out and beat on her. Been busy with life, death, racing (MTB XC and Enduro), and traveling. She does get a new windshield today however.Any updates on the car Easton?
So unfortunate realities aside, I except nothing less from you - from every post I have read from the last 1 year+E63S Update - I went and spent more money again. This time for a AMR tune. I am not happy with the Dyno Comp tune for a couple of reasons. The trans tune itself has been really interesting and drivability isn't what I want. The shift between first and second is not cool. So I took it back, and they tweeked the tune. It drives great now. However, when I put the car in race mode and try to launch it....it falls on its face. I went from going 3.10 seconds 0 to 60 to pulling a 4.70. The car is a complete dog now. So cleary there is a correlation. Also the idle tune has never been correct. Being catless, it really stinks literally.
There has also been some things behind the scenes, with fuel rails and injectors, and overall I would call shop fatigue. Dyno Comp has done a great job throughout the process and made things right, but I just want a fresh start.
That being said, I am going to work with AMR for the next stage in the tune. Going to start with their Stage 2 (The German car owners and tuners refer to mods as stages) 91 octane tune and get that dialed in. Then we are going to see if I have enough in tank pump to have a dedicated E30 tune. That will make me a lot happier in the summer here in Phoenix. Also since we are remote tuning, the Comp Port tuning suite gives me the ability to datalog (more knowledge the better) and gives the tuner remote tuning ability.
Ideally I want the tuner to the level the tq curve and bring it max tq down into the mid 700's. There is a couple of reasons for this. First reason: wear and tear. Second reason: I believe it will launch better and harder because the tires aren't going to be hit with 840 lbs of tq off the rip. If I can get the car to sixty foot in the high 1.50's or the low 1.60's that is a 10.50 pass.
I also believe we are leaving HP on the table with a lack of timing. I want the E30 for the cooling properties and because ability to add more timing. I want the car to leave to leave hard, but have an amazing top event. I believe the Dyno Comp tune was the opposite. Good down low, and safer but mediocre on top. My car is down 3 to 4 mph on the big end against other stage 2 tuned e63s' and I believe that can be fixed with better fuel.
So yeah.....
I am actually enjoying the car and the troubles it gives me. Gives me something to keep reaching for. When I reach the top, I get bored, and when I get bored..... only bad things happens. So unfortunate realities aside, I except nothing less from you - from every post I have read from the last 1 year+
