We’re going to redo the Intercooler collar welds. It’s crooked and Ben isn’t having that, so he’s going to refund me for 3 collars and fix it on his dime. The man’s a perfectionist. I really appreciate that. He took the IC with him and he’s coming back Friday to redo it, maybe run the IC outlet to TB. New turbo turbine housings arrive tomorrow. Pretty soon it’ll all be plumbed up, then it’ll be time to add all sorts of bungs and do some custom -AN oil and coolant lines. Right now she’s just waiting and looking “totally tubular” hahaha!

Turbine housings arrived . New ones are 3” wide the originals were 4.5” wide.

I believe it’ll improve responsiveness but 90% of the reason switching was to get more clearance of the bumper, stop fighting with the IW bracket and get the turbine outlet farther away from the tire.

Both TIAL 44 mm wastegates and 50 mm BOV arrived. . Looking more hot pink than their described color as “purple”. You guys think I can pull off rocking purple and pink? Lol

Think I might just install this Derale race cooler right up against the radiator. It seems to fit perfectly bc of the attached brackets it came with. I just cringe about running anything through fins though so maybe we’ll have to run a bracket arm to it from the side of the core support.

One step closer to front mount intakes. It’s crazy that somehow this all works out the way I envisioned. There’s been a few times I thought oh, this isn’t going to work. I’ve cut silicone couplers to make them shorter and cut the bumper as well. It’s actually going to work


All I need now are 2 90 degree 4-3” silicone couplers

Andrew and Mike's builds respectfully made me not want to build my platform anymore.........

So I bought another car that has probably cost me twice as much at this point to build my SHO. I really hate money it seems.

You’d assume I had this all planned out the way it looks. It turns out my best work is my GUESS work!! Ever seen splitter rods braced off an IC?
