Yeah I just don't trust the transmission on those with boost. I kept mine to about 200k and let it go when gears started slipping. THat is the lowest run of engines of all the cars I've seen in a while. I did enjoy it for all the years I had it though.Ha, like the rest of the stable, nothing a little turbski won’t solve.
If you're looking for a V8 SHO, I have two of them. The red one is a low miles 1996 in great shape. Great interior & exterior. Unfortunately, the cam bearing spun and it needs the heads replaced. The black one is a higher mileage 1998. It's rusty underneath, but the engine ran well. It has a lot of new parts.I just want a cleanish, cam welded, stock V8 SHO. I just want to put a pair of 40 series Flowmasters on it and enjoy putting it around.
