I have a 2011 SHO that has 174k on the odometer. I could just look up the value on KBB, but I’ve done a lot of work on it, so I’m not sure how to price it.
All of the work that’s been done is stock. I replaced the EPAS steering rack, the lower control arms and brakes recently. But the main thing is the engine.
Three years ago, the water pump failed dumping all of the coolant into the block. The motor was toast.
So I found one as Fraser engines that was remanufactured and has an upgraded oil pump, water pump and a few other do-dads. At the time, I replaced the turbos as well. This was at 115k.
The engine came with a 5 year 100k mile warranty. There are still two years and 40k miles left on the warranty.
What value would you say that new motor, with a warranty, adds to the vehicle, if anything?
Thanks for any input.
