Swapped my tires for Winter's, lubed the caliper pins and pad shims.
Found both rear tires severely worn on the inside to the point that air was visible from the outside (not really but steel threads sticking out).
Installed (finally !) the rear camber adjustment bolts I bought months ago and in the process found that the upper back control arm bushing have plenty of play in it, so now I'm looking for replacement parts...
Video

In addition, I tried to decipher why my parking brake fully engages on the right tire but barely on the left.
The Workshop manual states "This tension pulls on the RH rear parking brake cable. At the same time, the tension in the front cable causes the RH cable conduit to attempt to straighten out, causing tension that pulls the LH rear cable."
I don't see the second part happening, by the time the right is locked, the left has barely moved. Can't find a way to adjust the left side so if anyone knows how, I'm all ears.
Today I realized I installed the washers for the camber bolts backwards which pushes the bolt in, kind of nullifying the effect of the cam on the bolt. Guess what I'm going to be doing Saturday...

Got a number of things done over the last month or 2. First up was a ptu and rdu fluid change. The ptu fluid looked pretty good for the almost 30k miles it had on it.

Pretty happy with this hanger setup for filling the ptu. Keeps it in place and I don't have to worry about it falling over and spilling fluid everywhere.

The rdu fluid was a first time change for me. I found the exhaust hanger back there annoying, but not impossible to work around. Personally I'll probably leave it instead of bothering to cut it out of the way. I did have to pour the redline fluid into a spray bottle that I could ***** a pump onto, but it was smooth sailing after that.

Next up I have a set of hotpipes to install. I only have the noisemaker delete on so far. I haven't had time to tackle the other pipes. I installed a UPR catch can at the same time. I realize I have the wrong hose going to the valve cover here. I figured that out and swapped that already.

Last, I finally found a place for the livewire that I'm happy with. I didn't like it on the windshield and I tried a cd tray mount that had it kind of blocking the lower half of the center screen. So I got a proclip mount and then used part of a popsocket mount to get it to hold the livewire. I had to use some hdmi corner adapters to get the cord to fit, but I like it much better where it is.

Speaking of RDU, serviced mine as well, tossed some paint on the cover while I was at it. Now a question of what fluid to use. Did a search but everyone keeps saying something different, so now I'm lost, aha. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Next is to cutoff that useless hanger since I'm going single side exit exhaust. Diffy

Pulled the cover off and mounted/set up my handheld to be my boost/AFR gauge. Also put in the set of Weathertech liners that I picked up today, front and rear for $50, couldn't pass them up.

Then put the cover back on, it's going to be a long winter . . .

$50 is a good deal. I feel you on the winter situation... bring on April! Being optimistic could be more like may here in Maine lol.

Yeah, they're basically new, couldn't pass them up. We've had some winters that have hung on that long here too, but not as many as you have had most likely.

Installed a 2011 NAV screen into my 2010 SHO on a hunch. I have both a 2010 and a 2011 SHO. The 2011 has a whiter back light because it is LED. The 2010 has a miniature fluorescent tube back light that is getting all yaller and every ting.... Found a 2011 NAV screen on eBay for 60 bucks and swapped it into my 2010. Identical part and pinouts but different part numbers and all that stuff. Now my 2011 has a nice bright NAV screen with LED back light like my 2011. Way mobetta and easy upgrade. I also have NAVTOOL in both cars that provides Apple Car Play capabilities. So, the car's are in the 2020's now in that regard.... :)

Just took my car to the car wash and on my way home the air coming through the HVAC started making a weird noise. I started playing with the vent modes and could not feel any air coming out of the vents. Came home, pulled the fuse to reset the system, waited 10 minutes and nothing... same noise and no air.
On a hunch I decided to pull the cabin air filter out and found it completely soaked... and frozen.
I keep the recirculation off during Winter so most likely this allowed water from the car wash to enter which then froze as I drove home... first time this has ever happened.

Tip: turn recirculation ON before entering a car wash :cussing:

Check and clean out your Cowl vents.

Didn't know they were different... pics?

Yes, I knew they were different. My 2011 SHO has a crisper and a brighter screen because it's LED backlit. The 2010 was getting dim and yellow. Classic wavelength shift of dying fluorescent tubes. DP is the 2010. UQW unit is the 2011 and is LED backlight not compact fluorescent like the 2010
