Definitely have what it takes to set a new record. It’s mostly going to come down to traction I think. My SHO was about 3825. About 4030 with me in it.
I don’t know what I was making for power, I think if we could only use one Dyno then comparing numbers would make sense, but if there’s 3-4 AWD dynos out there, comparing numbers doesn’t make sense to me. But I can see why it would make sense to dyno before and after major upgrades on the same dyno. But for comparing we’ll always compare to what the highest numbers are, regardless of dyno. Perhaps the same can be said for 1/4 ET’s regardless of DA.
I ran a 19 psi, spark capped to 18-20, E40 tune with 100% meth. I was happy with that tune for overall performance and allowed me to feel less worried adding nitrous for the track.
If you’re running 22psi then I’d say that’s a clear advantage….yes there’s a lot of factors but 3psi should make more power. If your car is healthy and good to go, I think if you add a little nitrous with 22 psi…I think we’ll see a new record. If you throw in some premium race oil and run a round of fresh fluids….I think you’ll keep it alive.
To be honest I’d love to see you add the XDI injectors and be the first to run the HellCat in tank pump, and no nitrous, bc I was completely shocked I ran a 11.28 with no nitrous on the street after adding the injectors and going up to 20 psi. It’s just the DW300c lpfp becomes sketchy.
I think you got it man, keep doing what you’re doing! And you still got better weather coming to boot!
