Is the is the most power on a stock motor without nitrous? Could be!
Torque is still capped a bit to preserve the drivetrain, big thanks to the work GHT & Matt put into this car. It takes time to get these cars dialed in right and ole HEB GTR is feeling faster than ever in the middle of August in Texas!

That’s a ton of power with a stock shortblock. Good idea to cap that torque. Stock rods don’t like that much torque.

You've gotta be lighter than that. I'm 4157 @ 30% fuel and I have full interior. Jordan didn't officially say interior weight but he eluded to 600ish pounds. Chris fix stripped a old M3 interior and it was 460lbs.
My weight savers are fiberglass hood, 5th seat belt delete, rear visor delete and race seats. I have a thread rolling around somewhere that shows known weights for specific items.

Maybe, I have done some more reduction since my last run so who knows. I think I I can eventually get it down to 3800, 3700 would be insane. My 60’ for the 11.3 was 1.75. If that run had full boost it might have run somewhere between 11.10-11.19 with a higher MPH. That would have really confused the mafths. Not to mention I made each pass heat-soaked which makes substantial difference. I can probably rattle off a few other variables which would have changed the outcome better or worse.

As far as weights goes I made that guess based off a few things. The last time I weighed my car it was 4000 or 4040 with around 20 miles to empty. I posted pictures of it somewhere around here which is good because I don’t exactly remember. During that 11.36 i still had my regular seat in, the front door panels and speakers were in. I was just over 1/4 of tank, I weigh about 180lbs, I did some weight reduction before that run which probably had the car in the 3950-4K range with fuel. I planned to weigh the car but found a couple boost leaks so she’s been grounded.

I have been pretty transparent and shared my time slips, weight slips, modification list thus far so once I get a more recent weight I’ll post it up... Maybe I’ll throw a few calibrated weights on the floor of car somewhere just for fun.

I have plugged my times and weights into some calculators on google and they aren’t all the same. I think most random hits on a google search use one of three popular calculations. A couple sites have all three and you will see how they give different numbers using data from the same run.

Definitely have what it takes to set a new record. It’s mostly going to come down to traction I think. My SHO was about 3825. About 4030 with me in it.

I don’t know what I was making for power, I think if we could only use one Dyno then comparing numbers would make sense, but if there’s 3-4 AWD dynos out there, comparing numbers doesn’t make sense to me. But I can see why it would make sense to dyno before and after major upgrades on the same dyno. But for comparing we’ll always compare to what the highest numbers are, regardless of dyno. Perhaps the same can be said for 1/4 ET’s regardless of DA.

I ran a 19 psi, spark capped to 18-20, E40 tune with 100% meth. I was happy with that tune for overall performance and allowed me to feel less worried adding nitrous for the track.

If you’re running 22psi then I’d say that’s a clear advantage….yes there’s a lot of factors but 3psi should make more power. If your car is healthy and good to go, I think if you add a little nitrous with 22 psi…I think we’ll see a new record. If you throw in some premium race oil and run a round of fresh fluids….I think you’ll keep it alive.

To be honest I’d love to see you add the XDI injectors and be the first to run the HellCat in tank pump, and no nitrous, bc I was completely shocked I ran a 11.28 with no nitrous on the street after adding the injectors and going up to 20 psi. It’s just the DW300c lpfp becomes sketchy.

I think you got it man, keep doing what you’re doing! And you still got better weather coming to boot!AD3EA8C1 AD6D 442D 9B34 A43F7430A876

Hey! Not my fault I live in excellent weather :D
Time to tow the SHO to the Northeast!

Here’s my non-sandbagging opinion on the cars ability. I have dropped about 100lbs I think since running the 11.36. When the car is hot it typically runs .08 - .1 slower. The 11.3 was the hottest I have run the car. Full boost and a great launch will probably shave another .1 or more overall.

It very well could be close to an 11.06 as it sits. If the injectors and Hellcat pump could net another 20hp then I probably hit a 10 at $2500. Nitrous would be the economical solution... Nahhh I’m towing the car up too the NE for that DA!

Btw, I agree with your statement about Dyno numbers. They are a great tool and fun to look at but that’s about it. People get wrapped up in the wrong numbers.

3972lbs w/ full tank of fuel, exhaust and all interior b pillar forward still in the car. Easy to do some guesstimating to see where I was at when it was fully stripped on my 11.08

Guess I should add that weight is with the kirkey, braille battery and no center console but I did not have all that on my 11.08

You have to account for DA my bet is 12.0 +- da
Density altitude ? Id say your 3000 covers most of us Im normally at 3800 here

Buddy's car does 12.2/116 on draggy on 93 octane and both of us in the car at 3500-3800 DA. He's texting me wanting me to take his car down to GHT for a e30 dyno tune.

Yeah, he’s trying to do a GHT e30 at Gearhead because he wants some dyno numbers. However he’s having a hard time with schedule. I was going to take it down there but just too much on my plate also. We’re both here in the Dfw area, we both run at the Motorplex but rarely in the Taurus’

Unleashed did the 93 tune.

Yah it sounds like they are busy. Tbh, the best way to tune these things is on the street pulling with data logs. I can help you with part if you have questions.
