Sorry for the Necro on this topic but, just reading this thread. Here are the Ford Specs:If you want an accurate PTU temp, you could get an external guage and wire it to the temp sensor on the PTU. Not ideal, I'm sure. It's just a 2 wire resistive type temp sensor. I took a ton of readings on one to attempt to figure the scaling. I still have that data if ya need it.

Lol ford to bmw is still 3:1 thought about it and today and all my cars are turbo. 6 total turbosIf cars could talk WW3 might break out in your garage.
Update!
Block completely torn down and inspection came up good! Visually everything is basically perfect. Going to measure everything and recheck the bore and clean everything again. I've got the block in the back of the bmw as I need to bring it to a machine shop to have a blemish decked that was deemed not an issue but better safe than sorry as it's a part anyways may as well make sure it's perfect.
Next I need to find a main stud kit. I know LMS has one but they are trash. I need to contact super six as looks like they also have one. Slowly but surely!
Yes, coincidentally the same plug behind the water pump we believe was the issue. This time around we are going to thread the block and actually put a threaded plug in it's place. Oil pressure is a finicky thing and will make the smallest of discrepancies extremely noticeable and my sanity disappeardid you ever find the reason for low oil pressure?

He said ecobeast that's why he got that responseThat's the wrong GOT walk of shame.
Very niceGot the main studs in. Gotta drop them off Monday at the machine shop so we can check main clearances and be good to go after some machining most likelyView attachment 17937
