Ya it's pretty quick for what it is. He ran a 12.6, there's another guy with a red one that runs mid 13's in his.

Wild... I distinctly remember pointing out that our cars' powerband generally ends at ~5800 rpm and getting poo-poo'ed on by a guy wanting to rev out to 6500 rpm thinking he'd shave .2 seconds off his timeslip.

And they like to rev them over 6200 lol. Makes no sense because the powerband has already tapered down to trash at that point. But a **** is a ****

He is talking about the 2.0 EB.

However it does apply to our 3.5 EB. I specifically asked Brad to have mine shift at 5800 rpm after looking at my dyno sheets.

In the end my sho was revving to 6200 because of the upgraded turbos and methanol allowing the powerband to keep going a little extra before the cams just didn't like any more but before hand the stock turbos just are shit and don't like much more than 5500

Finally got the SHO back. Final tally is $10,116. Looks like the body shop overpriced a lot of the items to cover their butts. Good for them.

I will be returning the car for some paint imperfections in the next week though, but the manager said it would only take a couple hours.

All said and done it took 22 days, 50+ hours of labor, equaling $2800 and $6000+ in parts!!!

ME TOO!!! However the only aftermarket items used was the bumper cover. They tried with the hood but there was panel damage, so they went OEM.

Hmmm good question, I’m not sure. But, given that Detroit, the city of Ford is so close, I wonder if that allows for an allocation of goods superior to the rest of the country, when it comes to aftermarket.
Though MN isn’t far away, but shipping cost may play into that.

So tonight was by far one of the best/funniest moments I've ever had in this car or really any car. Some dude in a blacked out ss camaro (2010ish) with some load exhaust came up to my family at a light. He revved the **** out of his car and checked us out. We had just come from DQ, and this will be important . Anyway he revved up and launched, as soon as was out of the hole we were right behind him, then walked around him. My wife and I raised our drinks at him as he disappeared into the rear view. At the next light he wouldn't even look at us, when it went green he peeled out and the whipped a U turn and left.
