they've actually been shipping, quite a few people have received and installed them. It's not perfect, but they like it so I tried not to rain on their parade about what's it's going to cost to get it to actually look right.

The guy on facebook that installed his said stock was around 45ish lbs and the CF was 35ish. It's a hyrbid so it still uses the fiberglass frame just a CF skin.

Since I asked that I did some research, dealer OEM salers put the weight at 65lb for the stock. Also, Duraflex put their GT500 at 25lb. That's a pretty big difference.
You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of their hoods would you?

Yeah, interesting is a good word on that. I'd like to see it up close for fit and finish.

Driven by Style is selling the GT500 V2 Carbon Fiber for $863 and state it's 100% carbon fiber. Wonder if that's accurate though..

that's the same hood as above, $863 is the retail cost, you can get it on eBay for the same price. It's a 100% carbon skin, but the frame is still fiberglass.

You're right. I just spoke to Duraflex and they state it's 30-35lbs and is a skinned fiberglass hood.

They also said the carbon version is unavailable til 4/7 and the fiberglass version is unavailable til 3/31
