Very cool. I didn't know they offered this. Surprising they don't offer white. Very limited color selection for sure. I thought the 10-12 hoods were different than the 13+ hoods.

There are distinct differences between the '10-'12 hoods, versus the '13+

Too much customization done to my hood to consider these as an option, but it'd be nice to see some of you taking advantage of these for sure.

I came across this not too long ago and am very much considering it but aren't sure if I want to be the first. Also, really don't want to do hood pins if I don't have to.

There are really nice hood pins that fit flush and look great (not the big pin sticking up through the hood).

I had a cowl hood on an older SHO and can attest that they are great (except in an overhead carwash), and with the crazy temperatures due to the turbos and extra exhaust piping, this product looks like it was heaven sent.

I could have sworn the car ran better and got better mileage, and I left it on all year round, cause I liked how the car ran so much.

Although a cowl hood isn't quite CF mind you, @ sperold..... do you recall any issues with fitment from the (term used loosely) "older" Gens that may have purchased these previously on the older SHO's?

My love affair with the GenII fiberglass Cincinatti SHO hood was due to the cowl induction aspect. The weight reduction was a nice bonus of course. The fitment was A1.
From the picture, I thought this new offering was a cowl induction hood due to its shape, but on closer reading, I see no such claim.
You would have to check with the manufacturer to be sure this is a cowl induction hood, and not just a look-alike.

I'd be seriously thinking about vents if you did a hood......maybe a naca vent over the air filter and then a pair on the sides for air evacuation
