Engine ticking plus p0016 see videos

Hi everyone. It looks like my SHO is in trouble. It's a 2014 with about 70k on it. It's got some ticking in the motor which can only be heard when hood is open. See video.

It also has a strange behaviour when accelerating on occasion. See video

Its also throwing the classic p0016. On a scale from one to pegged, how screwed am I? Any idea what it could be or the cost?

Easy hopefull solution is a chaffed wire on the vvt solenoid on that bank.
Another solution could be to replace the vvt solenoid, but im not sure if it would be causing that ticking at idle if it is clogged from pour oil change intervals

This code can mean a few different locations but ive mostly seen it caused by a vvt solenoid or wiring. I was very bad with oil changes when i got the car and had one clog up with similar code
