Lol. How do you activate your two step?
Neutral or park and floor it, it caps out at 3500 rpms, going to talk to brad about getting a functioning launch control however

I think I may switch to a local tuner, afraid of blowing my engine again.... not blaming it on Brad but ended up I had multiple piston failures which I can only accredit to the tune as the engine was maintained very well.Yeah I am wondering how he will activate it for launch control.

Carfax said everything was good all services regularly ect..., when I tuned it is when the noticable issues arose. Brad has been a reasonably responsive tuner as I know he has his day job, but I guess I may have just had a bad experience. Hard to think that a multiple piston failure could be caused by just driving the car normally at the time of the blowHow did you know the engine was maintained very well. Pretty sure you said you were having issues before the tune, when you purchased the vehicle.

Carfax doesn't report anything like proper maintenance. Without the proper documentation from the previous owner or from the dealership you literally have zero idea how the car was maintained.
Take for instance, my SHO. My Carfax says very little just the basics. However all the work that was done to my SHO was done at the same dealership the previous owner took possesion of it from. I walked out with stack of oil change records, maintenance records, ect. I abuse mine too, and had a catastrophic failure as well. Was my trans compromised before? Who knows? Did the increase of power contribute to the failure? Who knows? I completely documented my failure.
I am by no means saying Brad's tune did nor did not blow up your car. However, you have documented abuse on your old motor here quite a bit. When you bring up a tuner (regardless which one) and a failure be prepared to be asked questions.
Most Dealerships, including the one I bought my SHO from report services at the dealership into Carfax. The previous and only owner of mine got his car solely serviced at the dealership where I bought the car from. I took that into account while looking for mine.
I did regularly abuse mine, and I recognize that fact and that questions will be asked. However, how often does a car blow up when cruising on the freeway at 70mph and 2500 rpms, that was my thought process. I agree it could be other things, but Id rather be safe than sorry with the new engine in.
