Got new radiator fan assembly installed yesterday, along with a fresh oil change and coolant flush.
I have the car stock at the moment, and today a G37 coupe pulled slightly away from me on the highway, we were both to the floor. Tune needs to come back on ASAP! Will say though that the car was running on 87 (wife filled it up and didn’t want to spend the extra $$$ on premium)

IDK what the **** was playing at the time that pic was snapped.

I was listening/watching to the 90's throwback channel on "XCITE" videos from my local (Comcast) xFi cable provider.

Your guess is as good as mine. Ha!

Yes, that gas fired heater hanging from the ceiling is the bomb during the cold winter months here in the CHI......

I'm thinking the sound that would go with picture #1 would be a little more like ... Bow chika bow wow:boink:

Replaced a stripped hose clamp from my front turbo, hose was really lose. Hope to see a slight improvement in acceleration.
I also replaced the spark plugs with SP542's. Car had CYFS12YT3 in it, which I believe are SP534's, not sure why the previous owner had these on with this tune.

The old plugs didn't look too bad, they were gaped at about 0.032" but it can also be due to wear. Glad that I didn't find any oil or signs of an issue.
Here are some pics, let me know if you see anything I didn't.

Yeah those plugs look good. Tan is what you want to see. Mine were all around .036” when I pulled them. My brother in law yanked his out of a 3.5 eco F150 at 50K on the clock and his best was near .050” and found one at over .060”.

My first attempt at vinyl wrap. Had some help from a coworker who has been playing around with wrapping his Honda side-by-side. A 5 foot by 6 foot roll is NOT enough for the roof despite what multiple measurements told me. We got it to stretch adequately, though. The spoiler piece was made with the scrap from the hood. From 10 feet back it's about as perfect as you can ask for!

Love your party garage brother! My 1st thought was it's a ***** flick on TV in 1st pic - oh where does my mind go!? Lastly, either your garage is massive or that's a smaller fridge/freezer...?

3.5 car.... not "massive" in the true sense.

But yet plenty of room to stretch out and be able to enjoy. Fridge is medium in size.

No **** on display on the TV. Like at all/ever. Haha. Not sure (some) of my neighbors would necessarily appreciate that.

I'm most happy about the garage being heated, as well as having it's own, dedicated, inside spigot and hose in order to be able to wash any cars throughout the winter.

I'm just ready'ing the space for the SHO's eventual return.

Actually got to drive the SHO. After this PTU replacement its a whole new animal. Once that whine started I guess It just slowly got worse and I didnt notice since it was gradual. Launches are violent again it's fantastic.

Also got some fancy new fluid delivered to me to replace within it courtesy of the recommendation of some of you gentlemen. 01569dbfc4350203902d6945e0e98ef0

Go out and launch the car. Feel the differnce? That 2 to 3 gear change will be money too. Also did the exhaust note change in the cabin?

It’s just insane! It’s like driving my ‘66 Galaxie. You feel totally connected to the motor. Yes, it sounds completely different. The engine resonates through the the car now. It feels like you’re actually driving a car. You forget how disconnected you are in modern cars from the operation. I was worried it would ruin the driving experience but it actually improves it 100%. A million thanks to you SM105K for reassuring me. The feel, sound, shifts, and driving experience is so much more natural.

Ortiz Performance. The tuner from BAMA who left when it was going to shit started his own company, lots of good Mustang and EB tunes. You can look them up on FB too, they respond super fast there. I had the first tune in an hour, and two more revisions that day. The final tune will have a 2 step launch control as well. They can do ghost cams too if you want that rice life

I think the Ghost Cam is completely opposite of Rice Life! It makes the car sound like a very angry V8 beast with a big cam! Rice life is a fart-can vacuum noise.
