Maybe placebo, but that's the only way I ever heard of it making much difference. The gas tank stuff not so much

Or you could just run Ethanol in all of your vehicles......like me. HA!

I'm having a hard time finding motorcraft PM-6.

It's the ford in fuel tank injector cleaner. Motorcraft also makes one that you run in an injector cleaner and disable the electric fuel pump.

Most dealerships dont sell/use this stuff because BG is more profitable gives spiffs for selling them.

Rear Spoiler added. And windows tinted 18% ceramic. Think I may also add the SHO window badges they had on the trim of the 2010 models. Anyone know if they will fit the 2018 looks the same to me. I found them online for 80 bucks a piece.IMG 20190731 083219494 IMG 20190731 083210734 HDR

^those emblems are the same, and are held on by two sided tape.

I would make a rebuttal that I like to purchase in a brick and motor store, but also am disappointed that littleraly the 6 ford/lincoln dealers I called didnt have the injector cleaner. I found one dealership with the carb cleaner.

When I said I was having a hard time, I should have clarified I ment finding it locally.

Thank you SHOdded.

No it looks like the same set up that is on my 2013. I just had mine off a couple of weeks ago to be paint matched.

I just finished up a 100K coolant flush per to book (VC1 and removal of the radiator) cleaned out all the dust out of the coolers. No oil build up in the C.A.C.

I pulled the intake to look at the valves, I would say they were clean for 100K d.i. motor. Still sprayed them down with motorcraft carb clean.

Removed and replaced the plugs, shot some carb clean down the holes and cranked the engine over before installing the new plugs.

New thermostat and pressure cap.

Changed the oil. New drain plug.

Had al alignment earlier today after I replaced the tow links in the rear last night.

I may be young, but I am pooped. Uphda. Now I have to wash it tomarrow.

This last month it was good to be my SHO. Gave her an oil change, a nice bath and wax, installed Sp542’s, 3bar map, emptied the catch can for the first time (good god man the nastiness), loaded a 93 performance tune, dropped it on H&R’s, and FINALLY tinted the windows with 15%. Now that, is a good looking automobile. Next up, time to abolish some chrome.

Ya know, I think it did, ha! When that starts feeling slow again I may try a E30. Seems like such a pain to get gas though. I know a few dudes by me that said they’ve tested our “e85” as low as 55%. I’d just be anxious that I mess up the mix.

^that looks fun.
Thanks! What I like best about it that, after driving the Explorer for a week or two, hop in the bull with the H&R springs, tune, etc. it feels like a little sports car! Plus it keeps miles off the bull with enough performance that I don’t mind driving it!

That is why I have the ST. It gives me a great driving experience and keeps the miles off the SHO.

Silver Explorer! great choice!. Can't beat having an SUV for towing, hauling or off roading and a sporty car g forces, illegal speeds and winding roads.

Driving characteristics are night and day.

A fiesta ST or Focus ST would be cheap at the pump and fun daily...hmmmmFac0eef43d11a5688c6366332cc7756c1dd2edebc3cb5299a77d645bffd0b3e7
