Besides all the conjecture and opinions. This topic was beat to a pulp....

LMS runs very rich... 11.4 lambda Or around there... stupid rich... like black smoke out the tail pipes rich... I’ve seen it...

Gearhead runs .82 lambda which is leaner than LMS but is considered the best mixture to run on DI applications by everyone but LMS. And not just with this platform.

In short, LMS by running so rich, demands more from the fuel system than the load they demand supports.

And yes, LMS has access to parameters that SCT does not on the 2010-2012 MYs... however... Matt has access to parameters on the 2013+ that LMS does not.

I seriously doubt LMS has any “insider” info from ford about their ecu software/logic, maybe in the beginning in 2010 when the SHO launched they could of had the inside track to a first to market tuning device but 9 years into this thing the playing field is level. I don’t think it’s even really know who is revising these tunes from LMS.

It’s either Dan Millen or his second in command Andy... I’m guessing Andy now a days based on my conversation with him.
