There's two types of Toyota mains, one with a single oil hole and ones with 3 oil holes. Not sure how to tell the difference between them. One set I had had 1 hole and one set had 3 holes. I wanted 3 holes in both of the end bearings so I just drilled 2 more holes in the end bearing that had a single hole. If you get two sets of the 3 hole bearings no drilling is required.

I can't find a lot of my pics for some reason, so the ones here show the single hole bearings. I ended up using the 3 hole ones though.
Hi
I was just looking the rod bearing and i was looking at the ford 2.0 or 2.3 liter duratec and they have the same journal diameter and the other spec are very very close did anyone has try some of those bearing?

I tend to doubt it, as the rod bearings have generally been available over the years.
Hi again
i have check the regular ohc ford 2.0 liter and the rod bearing are indentical just a bit wider that all and tang is not on the right side that even closer than the duratec just sayin if the rod become obsolete then we could use something like that just saying

These are the main bearings that he found a workaround for, as SHO main bearings have not been available new for many years.

Rod bearings have been generally available over the years, and people have been stockpiling them.

oh ok so you guy have imported these sho the way i understood it right?
Most of SHO gen1 and gen2 were imported in 95-2000. gen 1 is almost disapeared (I guess we have 3-4 in Moscow 2 of them is on road, 6-7 on road in all Russia). Gen2 are some more. Gen3 were 4 or 5 (red, silver, black, violet, maybe white) Red is still alive, black, silver, violet are dead.
