Buying SHO that was in an accident

I posted earlier this week that I was rear ended in my MKS ecoboost and they are totaling the car. My question is - Would you be hesitant to buy a 2016 SHO with this kind of damage from an accident? Everything was fixed. I attached the work that was done.

So front end damage... all new front end parts... new instrument panel and seat belts.. new windshield.... my guess is airbags did most of that
Damage.....

I would take it to a reputable shop to get it on a lift to check things out...

These cars aren't that rare. I would pass on almost any car with a accident on its record. My guess is the asking price is low 20s I wouldn't feel comfortable spending that coin on a repaired car.

That is a LOT of front end damage. Air bags, front end structure. Hard PASS. You can find better

If it was my money I'd move on.

It will be much harder to sell when you are through with it.

The accelerated depreciation will be massive.

Really depends on the asking price. It will probably be repaired properly, but it is going to have some quirks and annoying problems that will need attention during the first few months.

I have to agree that it really depends on price. If it's a steal of a price, much cheaper than others, and has been repaired properly it might be worth buying. If it's the same price as others or only slightly cheaper I would pass. For me that would need to be like a $13k-$14k car when the rest of them are $20k.

It doesn't take much to do alot of $ wise damage to these cars. I hit a deer, hood, drivers fender both headlight assemblies, intercooler, radiator and all supporting structures and the bumper replaced. About $14K on my 2016...
