...that there is now a v11 tune available from LMS?

Granted it's late in the year, but this does get my attention.

Now, I've never loaded my v10 tune as I've read a good number of horror stories, but as stated above..I'm curious.

Shouldn’t be a rumor as I’ve seen for a short while people posting about it, so I’d say it’s old news. Might want to PM Livernois and get the facts. Post up after you install it

I got it back in the summer but personally like v10 better. V10 with downpipes feels more aggressive down low.

Email for new tunes like you would for mods/etc and they will update you.

I emailed them yesterday and received the tunes a few hours later.

Easy enough, thank everyone.

I'm confused. Am I to believe when you get a tune, regardless from who, that they do regular revisions that you can download when ever you want?

It's not automatically but Livernois does update tunes from time to time hence the V11 available now and will update your device upon request. They will also update if you add certain mods. I believe they will also send you new tunes if you trade for another vehicle compatible with your handheld.

ah, I see. That's good to know. I would expect revisions when changing parts on the car but didn't realize periodic updates available to all. Interesting...Thanks for the info..

Yes we do updates to the software overall periodically and we will continue to do so!
I did have a question about this since I've only had my tune since the latest v11. When you guys do release an update do you send out a notification email?

No, we have so many customers it would be hard to do that, we normally post on forums about them but i do not know if the person who was doing this forum before me did so or not

I recently installed the V11. But I would love to know all the differences between these versions!!! Why would a newer version like V11 be "slower," than the V10 as you claim? I'm just curious - what changes do they make to each version? It would be real nice if LMS would share the differences or what they do to the tune to consider it a new version.

I just installed the V11 myself and I really like what they did to the shifting. It seems "crisper" - it also took my Learned Octane Ratio (LOR) from -.36 to -1 (a good thing). Throttle response seems better too. I believe they use less timing/boost at part throttle then V10. The V10 tune was causing my car to knock a bit at part throttle which affect my LOR and possibly hurt performance down low...Now unfortunately with V11 while it seems to run great I logged it and I've got a consistent 3-6 degrees of knock at WOT through most of 3rd gear. I just did new plugs, oil, and filter. No misfires and like I said it runs fantastic but it causes me a little concern. I'm also running the 91 tune on BP 93 gas (albeit crappy winter gas). I just mixed some Ethanol in to target E15 and will see if that makes a difference - I don't know if it's just my car or the V11 tune - or if Livernois is fine with that much knock and I shouldn't worry about it. I plan on emailing them to get their opinion as I'm guessing my car just doesn't like it for whatever reason. Worst case I will go back to V10 which I was very happy with.

Did you end up emailing LMS?
