I've been on the forums a bit in anticipation of me finding the right SHO.
When I went to see the her, I was a little taken back because I'm not rich, but I wanted her no matter what I had to do. "Shoffie" was a little beat up, previous boyfriend must've been a car beater. She was so beat up, as some of you know, she didn't make it home the first day because a radiator hose blew. The dealer took her back and fixed her up. This was Friday. I was a wreck all weekend. I got her back on Tuesday this week... and our relationship began. I drove her home and was overjoyed at her performance. I noticed the mufflers were not even, so I decided to go up to the ACTUAL Ford Dealership to see if I can make a new friend with one of the service guys today, and my tire pressure light wouldn't turn off. So, I met my new homie, Jerald, who put my ******* a lift and showed me exactly why the mufflers were not even and said to find a little shop who would straighten it out for me because they-him-dealership would charge an arm and a leg and want to replace the whole exhaust, can't afford that. Jerald also told me to come through and get the full service tune-up (She's Well Under 90K Though), but with the tune-up/revamp of the engine I would be ready to go. Me and Jerald made and appointment for the fix-up. (Sidenote: On The Carfax It Says "Body Serviced." What does that mean?)
I also had the "reading hard drive" media reading, so I couldn't put a cd in, switch to my phone, or listen to my music via usb or my phone... Jerald told me that he would hook it up when I bring the car by for the tune-up.
Me and my 14-year old son did the plast-dip last night. He was a huge instigator to get the SHO. I was gonna get a 2009-2012 Hyundai 4.6, but my boy and these forums convinced me to go the SHO route. I also didn't like the look of the hyundai over the SHO when it was all said and done. I like American. Anyways, I will post a picture or two here when she gets a good day and cleaning. The weather out here has been awful. Shoffie has some little scratches and a few of those little indentions that you REALLY can't see unless you stand at a certain angle on my side of the car, but she is still nice looking, tight, firm, fast, black, and mine.
Excuse the rant, but I've been driving a 2002 minivan and 2002 Trailblazer for like 2 years.. and before that it was a 2007 HHR for 2 years. (2006 Impala SS before that). I plan on taking care of Shoffie and making her a nice looking force to be reckoned with vs Charger R/T's, IS 350's, Genesis R-Spec's, Q50S', etc (Will Livernois Her When The Time Is Right).
I'm just happy to have a nice car to take care of for once.
