What gap were the plugs at, steelgiant? Your SHO is tuned, correct? Should be between 0.028 & 0.030 for max life.

k good! You'd be amazed how many folks don't do that, and ask on the forums about misfires, stuttering, etc.

As a check on plug gap, once the SHO is tuned, you can pull the front bank of plugs to determine how far gone they are. Say yearly/every 10,000 miles. Or simply change them out as a matter of course at 25-30K miles (plugs are cheap enough). If it's not a DIY for you, maybe you have a mechanically inclined friend who can help you with it?

My brother in law just so happens to be a mechanic hehe, I'm sure he could do my plugs for me, and teach me, so I can do them myself. :)

Pulling the plugs isn't bad, they are right on top of the heads. The back ones are a little more difficult, but not hard

While I was under the car doing the ptu and trans fluid I was looking at the turbos and down pipes...I guess this is why we have no lag... They are the smallest turbos I have ever seen. I would have thought ford could have done a better job with the downpipes also. They are tiny and restrictive going under the crossmember. When draining the trans, is it ok to drain the pain, start the car to pump the rest of the fluid into the pan to drain more than just 5 quarts?

Only if you set up an arrangement for new fluid to be pumped in at the same time the old one is draining out. Plenty of videos on YT that show you just how to do that. Plus, you need to watch the process carefully and have enough fresh fluid on hand to do the job.

With 3 drain/fills, you need 15 quarts on hand. With the continuous drain/fill process, be ready to have at least 5 quarts extra on-hand. If you run out of fresh fluid while the process is happening, you can kiss your trans goodbye.

When my truck had to be worked on, I got stuck with a 14 Chevy Cruze! It sucked!!

It sucks so bad! they called me on friday and said my car would be done by the end of the day... Then at 6pm they called me again, said that it take a long time to bleed the breaks on these cars, and that it won't be done until monday! :(

At least I've got some goodies waiting to be put into the car once I get it back!

No, got SP534's installed and gapped to 0.30... Just out of curiosity, would you damage the engine or something by running older plugs?
