I wouldn't do it again, it does look a lot better but the ride is starting to get to me... I would ask how old are you but instead, I would just say this... I'm getting older and my taste is changing. I was all about looks in my 30's but now in my 40's, I'm looking for both and starting the trade looks for comfort more and more.

The ride isn't too bad but it's noticeable and with all the work, I'm not sure if it was worth it??

Maybe get more opinions... I'm a bit jaded today after all of the work I've done this morning.

I'm 37 and have had lowered vehicles when I was younger and I didn't mind the stiff ride. I'm not sure i want to sacrifice that smooth ride for an inch. I will also be driving mine this winter in the snow so that would also be an issue. Think I will stay stock for now. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated!

Raced my buddies 2011 CTS-V, we did four runs from a dead stop and I beat him by a car on each, except the first one... When I didn't stage/spool the turbos up.

On a rolling start, he pulls on me pretty hard, but I believe with the meth and exhaust I would keep up pretty good?

I'm actually thinking about buying a 2012 and that's why he came over... But now I'm having second thoughts!

There's just something about the new Taurus' wheels I don't like.
Hey Badge yours look more spaced. I like the car thanks for posting the pic. Ya Reckon' they :re listening to a Misfits Box set when designing them. The vampire coffin symbolism there is just unique. Did anyone else think that about the wheels?

So I just place these in my cart but I need to call them in the morning before I order:

I'm on the fence, I like the black and the way it goes well with the ruby red and these would delete the flower but still keep it as close as possible to the original look.

But... I've also thought about the bright chrome and getting the lower black pieces color matched/painted ruby red??

I love chrome rims and I really think it would pop louder and look more elegant and less boy racer?

I need new tires so I need to make my mind up soon!

The only issue I'd have with getting the lower black pieces colormatched is their constant exposure to the elements on the road. The paint will get chipped pretty quickly. If there is a powdercoating equivalent product for plastics, that MIGHT work.

Here's the chrome one... They had a picture but then removed it... The rim looks really good in chrome and the "SHO" shows good and looks really nice!

I'm going to call them tomorrow and place the order!

I think the chrome would look better on the ruby red.

@TheBadger Beatiful car, looks stock but "enhanced" with the tinted lights! I just ordered the same Lamin-x gun smoke tail light covers, but seeing yours, I wish they were a little bit darker :/ oh well...

Just ordered my Corsa exhaust tonight, should be here on Friday!

Going to hold off on the rims for now, since I'm still going back and forth between chrome and black.

I put the headlight film and tail light film on in a couple of hours. It was pretty easy, the tail lights were definitely more of a challenge because of the contouring. Nothing but time and patience. The material is thick and rubber like; very easy to work with.

Good luck on the install and be sure to post pics. Would like to see what the darker color looks like.

Got my tail light film today, but won't be installing it anytime soon. Ford dealership jus called me and told me my car is gonna be in the shop another week :(
They replaced the break booster, and at the same time found a leak from the PTU, so now they've emergency ordered some parts, but they said it won't be done until the 15th earliest. :mecry:
