Can anybody tell me what / where these 2 plugs go?
Hopefully somebody can pop their hood and trace where it goes. One of them looks like it was never plugged in, the other used to have a partner.

Plug in the middle by the heater hose

This one comes from the harness by the firewall. See next pic

There is a sensor behind to the right of the ford logo on the intake ( next to the black barrel shaped vacuum object.. If you look back there and the plug in port is empty, then you have it. Otherwise it might be just a left over plug from the harness that is not used in your SHO. There are several on the harness that aren't used but they normally have a plug . On the top there is also sensor... I can't tell if it is hooked up as your index finger is blocking the view

the first one goes nowhere - there is a connector back there with nothing to plug into that apparently was just there to confuse us when we work on the car...

All the above mentioned items are plugged in. I need to check more on the temp sensor.

Can one of you pop your good and trace the wire?

As stated, the first one does nothing.
What are the colors of the wires in the second plug?
If they are red and green, they go to the secondary butterflys (IMRC).

DO NOT mix up the IMRC and EATC plugs! It will blow the IMRC circuit inside the computer!

The wires are yellow and black. I snapped a few more pics. the wire seems to naturally want to go by the brake fluid reservoir.

The first one does not do nothing.

It is the test port for VAPS. If you look in the manual it will show you how to ground one of the wires to have it do a self-test routine.
