Dark Blue Carbon Fiber Hood

Ordered it through Deft Racing, its Dark blue carbon and its a damn close match to my color. I am installing the aerotech hood pins for it tomorrow. It even has "SHO" molded into the underside of the hood.

A very worthwhile upgrade. I have nothing but praise for the fiberglass hood that I have, that looks a lot like this model.
With hood purchases, the shipping is an important factor when you buy.
When you are installing the pins, remember there are wires under that seemingly unimportant rad support structure, so pull them back before you proceed to mount the system.

Most of the Gen II carbon fiber hoods had this. Mine did as well.

This hood didn't come with anything that would use the stock hood latch or struts, just the stock hinges. Also, if you pay the $$$ for a carbon hood, I strongly suggest using hood pins as these hoods are very light and will rip right off if you don't.

I used the Aerocatch flush mount latches that are on the www.deftracing.com website

You have a close up of those latches? How do they work? Looks freaking sick, think ill order the same but in red
