Im going to bump this cause i need to pull more weight out but not sure where i should move next. I weighed in at 2840 a couple days ago and just removed another 45-50 pounds out. I imagine im around 2790 now.

The car has no dash, no interior at all, rear door panels cut out, lexan rear windows, no mufflers, carbOn fiber hood, and lots of other stuff.

Whats the most popular way to reduce the weight of the bumpers? How much weight could i save with a lexan rear glass? How much in the metal trunk bracing?

My goal would be around 2700 pounds and i would be stoked to see that.

You forgot you added your bumper then a 10lb bottle back in to the car...as opposed to when you weighed it at 2840 with no front bumper and no 10lb bottle.

Bottle is not in the car ATM. I might try to weigh the car again today.

You can drill large holes in the inner bumper, and replace your bumper supports with alum, this can save you 20lbs. What kind of seats do you have? My Kirkey is around 13lbs IIRC. Brakes and wheels and susp add up as well. Smaller brakes, light wheels and tires, and coilovers can save over 100lbs compared to your average 17'' wheel, big brake Koni/Eibach setup.

You could cut down that plastic brace to just the part that supports the bumper cover......also, the tar based sound deadening.....I pulled nearly 80lbs of just sound deadening from the ti...it adds up fast if its all over the place.

Other than that, does your car have a moonroof? Remove and gut that, bend up an aluminum replacement panel, then use 2 aluminum bars to span the hole and rivet to the panel. Get creative......deleting power steering can save about 40lbs, etc....lol

I have a corbeau forza II for the driver seat. About 25 pounds. The passenger is just a fiberglass bucket seat and about 15 pounds. I think i should start considering coilovers. The extra stiffness and the 80 pound weight savings would be great!
