I`m in the same boat as Bubba...been down with some sort of bug for the past couple of days, and was hopin to shake it by now...no such luck. I'm gonna have to sit this one out, folks. So sorry.

Just got in about 10 min ago. It was good seeing some friendly familiar faces, and meeting Perry and his wife for the first time, meeting Timbo again and his wife, hope everyone had a safe journey home.

Thanks again, Chris, for putting this together, it is much appreciated. (I made it to the Cheese Haus, and the Fudge Kitchen, got some goodies)

Nice to see everyone again. Sorry we didn't stay for long, and it's a little difficult to converse to the other end of the table, but it was a good time. My wife fully enjoyed herself and said riding in the sable "wasn't as bad as she thought it would be." Score one for the SHOble, SHablO, SablHO....... uh... whatever it is And a little fudge for the ride home helped out too

Glad everyone had a good time despite the craziness that was Frankenmuth. In the 7 years we've been doing this I've never seen Bronner's entire lot completely full with cars, nor have I ever had to stand in line for reservation seating!

Based on how busy it was this year, and the cancellations and the expense at Bavarian Inn, next year will have some major changes, and that's if I decide to host anything at all. Just becoming too of much hassle to plan out, get small gifts then have people back out at the last minute. Had I had the opportunity to redo reservations for the smaller group, we might have avoided the mandatory 17% gratuity. That plus lack of interest (I know there are more than 10 people in this neck of the woods) just makes the whole thing a bit frustrating.

Anyway, don't mean to be all bah humbug. It was great seeing everyone and whether or not there's an "official" dinner next year, everyone at this year's event is on my invite list! Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry! I really wanted to be there...but getting out of bed was quite the challenge, let alone making a 6 hour round trip car ride. Trust me...i would've rather been there than at home feeling like a train hit me.

maybe next year I'll organize it. The year I made it was more fun than the law should allow, even despite driving home on an ice skating rink.
