Launch the highest before tires spin. remove all excess weight (including spare tires), run with low gas, go on a cooler night, not too humid and at a track not too high above sea level, if you can get a wind from behind that can help also... If your tires spin, you can remove air in front tires. Put ice on intake in between runs... remove engine cover to reduce heating. If you have non-PP you can try starting on Drive mode until it shifts into 3rd and then put it on Manual and finish the 1/4 on 3rd gear (I don't know if not tuned if it will go in the red, but with the tune, it allows to rev over 6400)... However, that last trick avoid an extra shift but the power at the end of 3rd gear is less so all-in, I obtained about the same results as if left in Drive mode.Anyone have thoughts on how to improve besides mods. I tried lauching at idle, 2000, and had my best pass at 2200.
