11's in '12 ; )
Anyone has this application?
It is mainly for that reason that I changed my cell to an Iphone. Dynolicious calculates all sort of datas of acceleration (0-..., 1/8, 1/4), G acceleration in curves, braking, HP, etc.
I will go to the track again tonight... will be testing it along with new tires! Looking forward to seeing if I can finally brake the 12's!!! My best of 13.07 was done with mdiocre Michelin tires with 25K miles on them. Now, slippering tires should not be an issue. It is supposed to be cool and not too windy.
That said, I was wondering if any of you had the application and would have liked to have your comments concerning its accuracy. From what I have seen on youtube, the application seems to be quite accurate.
Also, it asks me the weight of the car (including me) in order to calculate HP etc. 4,358lbs without driver but with all liquids full is what I see in the books... but never verified it. Is it close enough, does it consider 20 inches wheels, sunroof? I don't have the performance package, so I have the spare wheel, etc.
I would like to enter the closest to reality and from there will add my weight and deduct the fuel and spare tire.
Finally, they ask the train loss... according to the dyno tests I had a month ago, it would be 23%, but I have heard higher numbers many time for our car... What do you guys think?
Thank you and results coming tomorrow!
