car will run for half hour then dies

I have a 91 sho with 180.000 miles on it it was runinnig good until last week the problem that i have is that run good then dies then half hour later star again about a year ago i change the water pump and the cps sensor I think is the water pump is leekin water into the cos sensor I need help please.

It sounds like there is water leaking onto the CPS, but we need you to actually look at it to verify that.

I dunno about the CPS/water deal. Still not convinced that it is a cause of CPS death.

Anyway, IMO it sounds like something heat-related in the electrical system. Wire break, bad connection at a connector, DIS not properly insulated, or ???

Others may have other thoughts.

I would get the dental mirror out and try to find that weep hole in the bottom of the water pump snout. Look for a track that water has been following - like a shiney little river.
I am not sure that it kills the CPS, after all it is a sealed unit, but it sure confuses it.

My 90 had no water leak, but the cps was dead. Are old 93 had a water leak and did just like yours does. It was the gasket on the back of the pump. Time to do a 60k.
