SHO at dealer...still

[SHO U UP]

I was finally tired of the not-so-good feeling when I hopped on the throttle in my SHO. The continuation of the flashing engine light and the couple times the navi locked up was beginning to drive me nuts. I dropped off the car Monday night and they still have it.

I was able to get a rental car last night, and POS HHR by the way, and they are awaiting injectors to arrive today. All 6 plugs have been replaced and the injectors were the next step. Only 13,*** miles on her and no other issues either. Been fortunate I suppose since some folks on here are having some of the same issues or even worse.

I was having a tuner come in next week along with some exhaust. Guess the tuner WON'T be going in now. You guys had me all excited reading about the way your SHOs run with a tuner but I'm scared of taking that chance now. I will ask them what they think of the idea since I know the service guy there pretty well. Wish me luck.

Dealer just called. Looks like injector #6 was taking a dump on me. All good to go they say. I'll pick it up tonight after work and see how it does. Hello SHO, good riddance HHR! :laugh_ti:

Hopefully it runs like it should. It seems like Ford is having trouble figuring out what's wrong with some of the cars.

Thats what they told me too, then the car went back into the shop for 70+ Days.

Wow guys! We haven't seen any SHO's in our shop for anything other then oil changes. We have 1 person who has done some pretty extensive mods...no problems yet, and he has about 20K on the car.

Got it back tonight, no issues thus far since replacing the plugs and the #6 injector. We even discussed my "tuner" that I was wanting to get. Looks like it may be a GO after all. If so, Rick @ LMS, here I come bro!

Did you ever follow up with your 2010 and find out what the resolution was. IOW was Ford ever able to repair it and remarket it?

they didnt give you any of the ..... well you know if ....and the you will void your warenty bs.. also will agree with you on how bad the hhr is, now the ssr is a fun ride

Halleluja! I'm happy for you. I hope mine is as liberal minded and as mod friendly.
Tho I have my doubts. It's not going to stop me from getting a tune and intake and exhaust, tho but it sure would be nice to have Ford's blessing.

From my understanding it was shipped back to Ford.
